1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to eligible purchases from Webbing Studios Academy, operated by FLR HOLDINGS UK LIMITED (trading through the Webbing Studios Academy brand), company number 16970627, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. Email: contact@webbingstudios.com. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions and the specific checkout information presented before payment.
2. Current prelaunch status
Some Academy courses may be purchased through Stripe as paid pre-orders. Payment is for the selected course only; no immediate access is provided. The planned release date is 4 November 2026. Access instructions will be sent to the checkout email address when the course is released. Individual course purchases include ongoing access with no predetermined expiry date or recurring access fee, subject to the course remaining available, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
3. Fourteen-day cancellation period
For many UK consumer distance contracts involving digital content supplied online, the normal cancellation period is 14 days after the day the contract is entered into. A consumer may notify us of cancellation without giving a reason within that period, subject to the applicable statutory exceptions and rules. The period does not simply disappear because an order is labelled 'preorder' or 'digital'.
4. When digital access begins early
If a consumer wants digital content supplied during the statutory cancellation period, applicable rules may require their express consent to early supply and acknowledgement that the cancellation right will be lost once supply begins. Where these requirements apply, we will seek them separately and clearly before providing early access. We will not assume consent from a pre-ticked box or general acceptance of terms.
5. Preorders before course release
Pre-ordering unreleased digital content does not itself remove statutory consumer cancellation rights. Eligible consumers can cancel within the applicable statutory period, generally 14 days after entering the contract. Where digital content is supplied during that period, any legally required express consent and acknowledgement must be obtained separately. If material access terms were not made clear at checkout, contact us for clarification and applicable cancellation or refund options.
6. Delayed or cancelled launch
The planned release date is 4 November 2026. If delivery is materially delayed, we will contact affected purchasers with an updated timetable and explain available remedies. If we cancel a course before delivery, we will issue a full refund. This policy does not limit statutory cancellation and refund rights for non-delivery.
7. Faulty or misdescribed digital content
Digital content must meet applicable consumer law standards, including being as described and of satisfactory quality. Where statutory remedies apply, these may include repair or replacement and, in qualifying circumstances, a price reduction or refund. A course that does not deliver a guaranteed career outcome is not necessarily defective, but a failure to provide promised content may be.
8. How to request cancellation or a refund
Email contact@webbingstudios.com with the subject 'Academy cancellation or refund'. Include the purchaser name, order email, course title, order reference if available, and a clear statement that you wish to cancel or request a refund. Do not send card numbers. We may ask for information needed to verify the purchase.
9. Model cancellation statement
You may use the following wording: 'I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the following digital course: [course title]. Ordered on: [date]. Name: [name]. Email used for purchase: [email].' You are not required to use this exact wording to exercise a valid statutory right.
10. Refund timing and method
Where a statutory refund is due, we will reimburse without undue delay and generally no later than 14 days after being informed of a valid cancellation, subject to applicable law. Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Payment provider settlement times may affect when the credit appears in your account.
11. Business and team purchases
A purchase made wholly for business purposes may not have the same statutory consumer cancellation rights as a personal consumer purchase. Team licences, bulk seats and negotiated agreements may be governed by written commercial terms. We will make any specific cancellation conditions clear before a team order is accepted.
12. Access after cancellation
Where a purchase is validly cancelled and refunded, access to the relevant paid course may end. Please retain your order and cancellation confirmation for your records. Any work you independently created during learning remains subject to the applicable intellectual-property and third-party terms.
13. Disputes and statutory protections
If you disagree with a decision, reply to the support email with the order reference and reasons for review. We will consider the circumstances and applicable law. This policy does not restrict statutory rights under UK consumer law or mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country.
14. Questions
For questions before purchasing, including course suitability, ongoing access or expected release, email contact@webbingstudios.com. Please seek clarification before ordering if a particular condition is important to your decision.
